The Names and Faces Behind Boston Foods
Ever since Boston Foods was just an idea, the organization has benefitted immeasurably from the ideas, passion, dedication, and hard work of students and friends across the country. Boston Foods has drawn inspiration from Top Box Foods, a hunger-relief nonprofit operating in Chicago and New Orleans. Currently, the Boston Foods team is based out of Harvard University, Boston College, and Tufts University.
Bennett Capozzi, Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Bennett coordinates deliveries, outreach, and staffing at Boston Foods. He has been involved with Boston Foods for two years and he is currently working with the organization full time during a six month postgraduate fellowship.
Olivia Kjorlien, Co-President
As Co-President, Olivia focuses on expanding the reach and impact of Boston Foods, along with operational efficiency. She is currently a senior at Harvard studying Statistics with a minor in Global Health and Health Policy.
Collin Reik, Co-President
Collin is involved with the planning and logistics of the monthly orders, while also assisting with outreach. He has experience working for political campaigns and investment firms, and is currently a senior at Boston College majoring in Economics.
Hannah Posner, Director of Health and Nutrition
Hannah helps with the nutritional aspect of Boston Foods. She works on creating healthy recipes and providing other tips for how to prepare the food included each month’s order. She is a current sophmore at Harvard College.
Nola Jenkins, Director of Summer Operations
As Director of Summer Operations, Nola is working on summer deliveries, marketing, and the nutrition aspect of the company. She is a sophomore at Tufts University studying Community Health and Environmental Studies.
Michael Hissey, Director of Finance
As Director of Finance, Michael focuses on ensuring Boston Foods has the proper funds necessary to run along with accounting. He is a current junior at Harvard College pursuing a degree in Government and Economics. He has been involved with Boston Foods since his sophomore year.
Taylor Stockton, Board Member
Taylor acts in an advising role to Boston Foods on strategic planning and operational effectiveness. He brings a wealth of experience advising non-profits from his time at Deloitte Consulting and Inspire, Inc. (a pro bono consulting organization for non-profits), and he is currently the Chief of Staff at Nova Pioneer, an education social enterprise in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a graduate of Boston College's school of management and is matriculating at Harvard Business School in the Fall of 2018.
